Denmark-China Industry Roundtable Meeting Held in Beijing

The Denmark-China Industry Roundtable Meeting was held in Beijing recently. The meeting was chaired by Lu Pengqi, Deputy Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), with Sune Stampe Sørensen, Director General of the Danish Patent and Trademark Office, and Michael Starbæk Christensen, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to China attending the meeting and delivering speeches.

Lu stated that both China and Denmark are important forces in global innovation and maintain close cooperation in the field of IP. This Roundtable Meeting is not only an important initiative to implement the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on IP cooperation between the two offices, but also a valuable platform for listening to the voices of the industry and sharing practical experience.

Sørensen noted that Danish enterprises have attached great importance to the Chinese market and their development in China. He hoped that the meeting would help Danish enterprises better understand and utilize China's IP system and policies.

Christensen emphasized the importance of IP protection for investment and innovation. He expressed his expectation that the roundtable meeting would enable the cooperative achievements between the two offices to benefit enterprises from both countries.
